Intelligence for QuickBooks Online

Approve Ziira in Intuit and it reads sales, invoices, bills, payments, expenses and journal entries, then checks them daily.

An honest note on permissions

Intuit has no read-only permission

Intuit offers one accounting permission that covers reading and writing. Ziira sends only read queries, but the approval screen will not say "read only". To make it a hard limit, approve while signed in as a QuickBooks user with reports-only or view-only rights: the app cannot exceed that user.

What is read

  • Customers, vendors, items, employees and departments (as locations).
  • Sales receipts, invoices, credit memos and refund receipts; bills.
  • Payments and bill payments, purchases (expenses), journal entries and deposits.

Chart of accounts, inventory adjustments and deleted transactions are not read.

Cost and limits

  • Intuit charges apps for reading data above a free monthly allowance, and its tiers change. We confirm current terms before onboarding a business.
  • Ziira reads only what changed since the last run.
  • Intuit's refresh tokens rotate and expire after about 100 days of non-use; a long-unused connection must be reconnected.
  • Deleted records are not seen by incremental reads.

Withdraw access

In QuickBooks open your connected apps and disconnect Ziira. Access stops at once.
