From purchase order to paid supplier bill, with the three-way match

Buy against orders, receive against what was ordered, and pay bills that match both. Cost and price history stays with the product so a supplier's price rise does not slip past unnoticed.

The flow

  1. Request and order from a supplier.
  2. Receive goods at a branch: stock goes up at the landed cost.
  3. Enter the supplier bill: Ziira matches it to the order and the receipt (the three-way match).
  4. Pay the bill; payables and the ledger update automatically.

Supplier returns, credit notes and refunds are supported, as is reconciling a supplier statement.

Guarded supplier details

Supplier bank details are stored encrypted, and changing them is a controlled action. Intelligence can flag changed supplier bank details and possible duplicate bills or payments.

Prices and margins

Cost and price history live with each product. When a supplier's cost rises and your selling price does not, Intelligence flags the margin squeeze, and at action level 3 it can prepare a price update for a person to approve. Nothing changes without approval.

Frequently asked questions

What is a three-way match?

Comparing the supplier bill with the purchase order and with the goods actually received, so you pay for what you ordered and got.
